Check out the fine print first, how

Thursday, 29 July 2010

Check out the fine print first, how much will that extra cost you. You don?t want the inconvenience of having to uproot everything and have to move it somewhere else!

3. Have you access to the raw server logs. You need unrestricted access to these logs to answer the following questions. Where are your costumers coming from? Where did they come from? What pages are they hitting? What pages are they leaving from? What?s your daily traffic?

4. Will you have full e-mail service? Are they providing POP mailboxes and email aliases? These are a standard feature almost everywhere so don?t be surprised if you?re offered these, you should be.

5. What are their downtime reports like? Is it 99%, 100%, although its hard for any company to say that they have 100% uptime, you really need to know that your website will be up and constantly running because if its not there nobody?s going to be able to buy from you and it can make you look a bit unprofessional.

6. Send them an e-mail first before setting up an account. How long did you have to wait for a reply? If things go badly and your websites down you need to know that someone is there for you to help solve your problems!

7. How long do you have to sign up for? Is there a minimum length of time, for example month to month? If things start to go wrong at least you know you can walk away from them and start afresh somewhere else.

8. How long have they been they been established? You really need to know that you can trust their services.

You can find plenty

Thursday, 29 July 2010

You can find plenty of product reviews on Amazon and at online electronics retailers that can help you get familiar with each manufacturer and what they offer. Don’t rush this part of the process as you need to be an educated consumer, and electronics equipment takes a little getting used to since they use terms and expressions that you just won’t find anywhere else.

2. Before you actually go shopping, sketch out your room and try to lay out where you want everything to fit. Where do you want the entertainment center including the TV to be situated? How does that affect the seating arrangement that you want? How about the speaker system, should they be wall or ceiling mounted, or free standing? How are you going to run the wires for the speakers so that they aren’t hanging out all over the place? Knowing the answers to these questions in advance can save a lot of backtracking later on.

3. Buying a home theater system should be preceded by arranging a demo for every system that you are considering.

PPI lenders braced for flood of mis-selling claims

0 Comments | Mail on Sunday (London, England), The, Oct 28, 2007

EXPERTS believe the continued spotlight on PPI will trigger a wave ofmis-selling claims akin to the recent bank charges stampede.

Simon Lambert, campaigns editor of our sister website thisismoney.co.uk, says:’The mis-selling of loans insurance has been lining financial institutions’pockets for too long.

‘Our investigations have shown that about half of those borrowers sold paymentprotection insurance didn’t need it – often costing them thousands of pounds.

‘If this has happened to you, you could be seriously out of pocket and shouldact now to claim back your money.’ Such loan insurance represents highlyprofitable business for the banks. Only 20 per cent of the money collected fromPPI premiums is paid out in claims compared with 82 per cent for car insuranceand 54 per cent for home insurance.

However, moves by consumers to reclaim charges could put a serious dent in thebanks’ profits.

A guide to reclaiming PPI and a template letter can be accessed atthisismoney.co.uk/reclaimppi.

New Yorkers must stand up

Wednesday, 28 July 2010

New Yorkers must stand up to this form of organized crime.
I would like to see every member of the union lose their jobs or end up in jail. I believe that they are organized crime and they want to create chaos in the nation’s largest city.

The actions of the NYC transit workers are shameful, especially since it comes right before Christmas. This is an attack against innocent and law abiding citizens. I believe that these workers lack morality, decency and compassion. They are very selfish people.
The strikers were seeking an eight percent wage increase. The average American is lucky to receive a three percent wage increase, let alone and eight percent annual raise.

Regardless of what the price is for

Wednesday, 28 July 2010

Regardless of what the price is for the merchandise, just because it is there, they will look at and consider it.

Other options that you have include using your marketing dollars to present return coupons for your visitors. For example, on the back of their cash receipt is a coupon for their next visit. This will help to encourage their return in a short time period.

Whether you use point of sale merchandise, marketing materials, or even electronic options, taking advantage of the dollar at the point of sale terminal is an excellent opportunity many businesses miss.

My question for the

Wednesday, 28 July 2010

My question for the World is this; if Vice President Dick Cheney shoots his friends, why would anyone want to get on his bad side.

In other words with Iran trying to play hardball with the United States and the International Community over nuclear weapons and with Donald Rumsfeld the kingpin of the pre-emption policy, it might seem to an observer that perhaps this is a bad move on Iran?s part? Well, what do you think?

Vice President Cheney has already shot one Terrorist (an attorney) who is to say he would not move to put an entire nation in his cross hairs? Today we see Iran, stating they wish to blow Israel off the map, then come to the negotiation table, then sponsor the Cartoon Riots.

Next Iran threatens to slow oil production to punish the US and cut off the locks to its nuclear enrichment program laboratory.
